My family and I want to thank you for the absolutely perfect apartment that we rented from you this past Sukkot. We are still reeling from the experience of spending Sukkot in Eretz Yisroel. It surpassed our expectations and exceeded anything we dreamed it would be. We have never felt Yom Tov like this before. I know that we will carry this experience with us until we can come for Sukkot once again (which we hope will be very soon). We are even seriously contemplating coming again in January. We are beginning to sort through the details and see if we can make it. The apartment was pure luxury. From the Egyptian cotton sheets, to the convenience of the sukkah, to the location of the apartment from which we walked East, West, North and South, to the proximity of any and all kinds of shuls, to the proximity to Ben Yehuda (where we were able to order pizza to go, rather than wait until a table in the crowded sukkah was available), the apartment was great!! It had everything one would need. One day we were having milchig and I was serving ice cream. I was prepared to use a spoon to scoop the ice cream, when I jokingly said "I wonder if there is an ice cream scooper here", which I totally would not expect to find in a rented apartment or even in many homes. Much to my surprise, not only was there a scooper, but it was a top quality scooper!!! And the cherry on top......Only my husband was able to figure out how to use the washing machine and turn on the stove, so he got stuck with those duties!!!!!!!!!! We had a great time. We had an incredible experience and the manager was so nice. When we arrived the apartment was spotless and linens were clean. The manager met us at the apartment,walked us through, showed us around and how things work and she even gave us some ideas on nice places to go. It was a great experience and we would recommend rentals of distinction and this Strauss apartment to anyone looking to rent an apartment in Israel.
